In 2021, I had a scholarship in the framework of which I conducted a broad research on works for guitar and electronics by (mainly) women composers. The starting point was, among other things, the assumption that there would be many works, but that they would still have to be appreciated due to the interweaving of structural disadvantages against women in the field of composition, in the engagement with electronic music and ultimately because of a very static canon of classical guitar.
The research also resulted in a concert format that took place in August 2022 at PARKS, a subculturally used freely accessible park for the district. With overhead projections by Katrin Bethge, it also became a special concert visually. The interplay of the analogue projections, the sometimes noisy and distant music and the enchanting grounds of the PARK enabled the listeners and spectators to drift off into a pleasant audiovisual concert experience.
